888.com on the move - 56% Rise in Profits

One of the world’s leading online casino sites, 888.com, has reported a huge rise in profits - an increase of 56 per cent in the third quarter. This comes as a surprise to many as Partygaming recently said that the online gaming sector is starting to slow down.

Revenue for the three month period for 888.com has seen profits rise to $72 million. In addition, they have witnessed a 178 per cent increase in their online poker to $29.5 million. PartyGaming’s CEO John Anderson has since made a statement that his initial comments were relevant only to his company in particular Party Poker, not across the poker industry.
