Police Building Case Against Poker Celebrity

Police are investigating local poker champion, Richard Lee. They believe he was working as a 'sports betting broker' (bookie) placing large bets for other people over the internet. Richard Lee lives in Texas where online gambling is illegal. The VICE unit has been investigating Lee for more than 8 months and continue to build a case against him. On Tuesday, they obtained a search warrant to sieze his property, including his cars, computers, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash thought to be money to fund his illegal dealings. Lee however has not been arrested yet. Police plan to turn the case over to the District Attorney.

Lee plays cards with some of San Antonios' elite. In a statement they said they recovered a list of Lee's alleged gambling clients, no word if that list will be made public.
