Alligator Blood

Alligator blood is the term used to describe a player who goes all out to win and will use every trick in the book (within the rules of the game) to win. The term is also used to describe players who are particularly thick skinned and keep finding a way to stay in the game.

This term is used and meant as a compliment at the poker table and is a sign of respect.
