How to Play Random Big Cards Pre Flop (Poker)

Random big cards pre flop are a good starting hand. Big Cards Constitute the following cards over Ten- JT, QT, QJ, KT, KJ, KQ, and AT.

Players in Low Limit Hold'em games will play big cards regardless of the play before them, raise or not. They will seldom give any thought to position or the number of players in the game. The important factor in playing big cards sits with the position you are in (to bet). In early position you would be ill advised to put in any re-raise and should call 1 raise.

Remember that it there are 8 or 9 players to play after you, this is 8 or 9 chances to hit a big pair or bigger 2 random big cards so you should play with caution. remember to factor in the number of players at the table as this is key in determining how strong you think your hand is.

You will have a much better idea of where you stand in the hand when you get to the flop, turn and river. You should always call with these cards but you should limit yourself to play AT and KQ to one raise. With big cards, any more than one raise and you should fold as up against big aces and Big pairs you are a long way behind.

Remember players always play these hands and in a table of 10 playing a QJ where there have been 2 raises before you, there is every chance that you are behind so you should fold.

In Low Limit Hold'em strategy, you should get in with the best hand, so you should be selective when playing random big cards. However if you can get to see a cheap flop, you should play random big cards. If the betting gets wild fold random big cards pre flop as there are many cards that can beat you.

By seeing a cheap flop you cover yourself. Remember in low limit holdem, you will find it much more difficult to bully a player off a hand, especially a pair. Wait until the flop and if you hit, them put the chips in.
