Rules of Texas League Baseball Poker
Texas League Baseball is a poker variation of Texas Hold'em - the only difference is that all 3's and 9's are wild. This makes it a pretty exciting game as there are big hands hit far more frequently with even more money exchanging hands, Other than the wild cards, the order of play is exactly the same as Hold'em.
The aim of the game is therefore still to make the best 5 card hand from a players two hole cards and five community cards dealt to the board (see board cards). There would also still be the four betting rounds.
Here is a quick recap on the order of play:
All players are dealt 2 Hole cards (pre flop) + Round of Betting
The Flop (3rd community Card) + Round of Betting
The Turn (4th community card) + Round of Betting
The River (5th community card) + Final Round of Betting
SHOWDOWN (Players show their cards)
With eight cards now wild, you need to re-evaluate you ranges - you'll have to devalue your traditional starting hands as they will be more frequently overturned. Whilst you won't find this particular game played online, you can play Texas Holdem , a few of it's variations as well as over 20 other games!
