Fifth Street (Poker)

In community card games, these shared cards are referred to as 'Streets'. In Texas Hold'em for example, the first three cards are known as 'the flop', the fourth card dealt, 'fourth street' and the final card is 'fifth street' (or the river card). As 5th street is the final card dealt, it's the last piece of the puzzle; the card that now either completes your winning hand, or contributes to a failed attempt at making a winning hand. It's followed by the final betting round before showdown.

In Stud games, this is the fifth card dealt to each player and represents the third round of betting.
