2012 World Poker Tour Vienna Day 1a

On Tuesday, the 2012 World Poker Tour kicked into again in action with day 1a of World Poker Tour Vienna. By the end of the day only 73 players left out of the 163 player who registered. Player ‘David Breitfuss’ was on the top position with 185,500 in chips at the end of play.

The 2012 World Poker Tour is one of the big poker tours in Europe. There were lot's of former World Poker Tour champions in the contest that include Andy Frankenberger, Victor Ramdin, McLean Karr, Sean Jazayeri and Mike Watson. Unfortunatly, past titles didn't do any otherm much good, as all were eliminated on day 1a. Other big names to fall on the first hurdle were JP Kelly, Erik Cajelais, Alec Torelli, Adam Levy and Vanessa Selbst.

The World Poker Tour live update team issued reports that another former World Poker Tour champion ‘Roberto Romanello,’ eliminated ‘Watson’ during level 7. On the previous level, ‘Selbst’ lost to ‘Matthias Kurtz.’ ‘Selbst’ could not hold AJ with  against ‘Matthias Kurtz’s A7.

The top of the leader board were Michael Eiler with 179,700 in chips and Marc Gork with 170,500 in chips. Other players who have decent day are Marvin Rettenmaier (95,300), Chris Moorman (93,200) and David Vamplew (66,600).

There were also some players who advance to day 2 that include ‘Romanello’ with 69,000 in chips, former champion ‘Bertrand ElkY Grospellier with 65,100 in chips and Eugene Katchalov with 61,800 in chips.
