2012 World Poker Tour Vienna Day 1b
Posted:April 2012The 2012 World Poker Tour Vienna day 1b kicked off on Wednesday. There was a shift in the leaderboard after the conclusion of Day 1b, which saw ‘David Breitfuss’ who was the leading stack after day 1a, move into fourth place. Darko Stojanovic led the leader board with a commanding 320,000 in chips followed by Carsten Jeppe and Jan-Peter Jachtmann with 206,400 and 190,600 in chips respectively.
World Poker Tour live updates team reports that Karr fell with 3-2 (clubs) against Stojanovic's J-4 (clubs) on the board, which came A-4-5, with two clubs. I'm sure there is something written about playing 3-2 off! According to Andy Black, Karr was "firing the entire play but Stojanovic didn't move". Another club went on Darko Stojanovic way and showed the door to Karr.
Other former World Poker Tour champions who busted on day 1b included Scott Seiver, Mike Watson, Guillaume Darcourt and Sean Jazayeri. Day 1b also saw many players back on actions that went out on day 1a due to the World Poker Tour re-entry format.
Govert Metaal, Arnaud Mattern, Ana Marquez, Tristan Wade and Sorel Mizzi are the other players who fell on the sword on Day 1b.
The top 10 players of day 1b in chips are as follows:
