Poker Online – Lederer Cancels Forum Appearance
Posted:November 2012There has been a huge amount of news in the gambling press regarding the re-launch of Full Tilt Poker. As a side-plot to this; Howard Lederer is not allowed to be part of the new website or its business into the future. We believe that the terms of the deal made between the US Department of Justice and PokerStars, included the fact that Lederer and Ferguson were not to be part of the new FTP in any way shape or form. Now the press seems to be even more intent on digging the scissors even deeper into Lederers jugular, and are making a real meal of the fact that the Department of Justice is seeking to sequester some of his property.
It is as this point in the discussion, we ask how many homes a poker pro can live in? In Lederer’s case, the magic number is no less than seven! We also believe that the number seven is quite a lucky number for some gamblers; although it is not turning out to be quite so lucky for some.
That having been said, he has been seen giving interviews to various online poker forums, and portals, but recently folded on an interview, and now again the press is giving him a hard time. There are accusations flying regarding previous interviews, that questions this mans’ integrity. Heck, how much integrity can he have? He has seven homes – six of them situated in Las Vegas - while millions of former FTP fans - who seem to have partly supported his penchant for purchasing property - have waited more than a year to even get a sniff at refunds of money owed. He is the former President of Tiltware and Board Member of FTP. Lederer continues to dodge bullets, and obviously the public just want to know – what gives?
