Titan Poker Now Offering the iPOPS Series

A new series of satellite tournaments has just begun at Titan Poker. It is the “iPoker Online Poker Series,” known as “iPOPS.” The tournaments have guaranteed prize money of $1.2 Million and will be conducted beginning in late April and running through the first week in May. But the satellites for the events are running now at Titan Poker.

The first of the iPOPS series begins on April 21. It is the mini, or “side” series, which will continue until April 27. These are seven tournaments which have various buy-ins, ranging from as low as $2.20 to as high as $109. All the players who reach a final table in the side series will receive entry into the iPOPS main event. That’ s in addition to the prize money they will win.

The major iPOPS series features no limit hold ‘em played in several different formats. These tournaments begin on April 28 at 18:00 GMT with an event featuring a $200,000 guaranteed purse and a buy-in of $135. The low buy-in for the week is $22 for the May 2 tournament which features a maximum of six people at each table. The May 3 tournament features a deepstack format and a second chance feature.

The main event will be held on May 5. That tournament has a buy-in of $215 and a purse of $500,000 guaranteed. It has an earlier starting time than the other tournaments, 17:00 GMT.

The Titan Poker satellites to the iPOPS series are running all day every day, with both regular tournaments and sit&go formats available. The entry fees to these satellites are al low as $.02. Titan Poker has also put up $10,000 to be distributed to the top players in the satellite events. The accumulated points that players earn in the satellites will be displayed on the “MTT Leaderboard.”
