Daily Events at Lucky Ace

Posted:October 2013

Lucky Ace Poker makes it easy for you to plan your schedule since they have a major tournament starting every night at the same time in their poker room. It is part of their “Daily Challenge” and all the events offer some major prize money, particularly their “Sunday Challenge,” which is worth $100,000.

There are actually eight tournaments that are played in the seven days of the Daily Challenge, since Monday features two tournaments played at the same time. These are Lucky Ace's popular “Monday Twins” tournaments, two $10,000 events that are contested simultaneously. Every other day of the week, Lucky Ace has one major tournament that begins at 19:35 GMT.

The Tuesday Challenge has the biggest buy-in of any of the week's tournaments, $109. However, you can play in Lucky Ace Poker satellites to qualify for this event for as little as $2.00. Each one of the Daily Challenge events has low-priced satellites that let you play your way into the field. Most days, you can buy in to these qualifiers for as little as $ 0.99. The only exceptions are the Wednesday Challenge, which has satellites beginning at $2.75, and the big money Sunday Challenge, which has satellites that start for $1.95.

There are several different formats you can play in the Daily Challenge. During the week, you'll be able to find a Turbo variation, a Deep stack format and a sit & go tournament. There is another event which offers both rebuys and an add-on. That event is the $30,000 Thursday Challenge, which has a $13.20 buy-in. If you're still alive in this event after the rebuy time has expired, you can then add-on to your chip stack.

The big event of the series, the Sunday Challenge, is played in a no limit hold 'em format. It has a buy-in of $90 and if you get knocked out of the event early, you can make one rebuy back into the tournament for the same $90. There is no add-on provision. All competitors in the Sunday Challenge will get chip stacks of 5,000 to begin. The blinds go up every 15 minutes. If you weren't able to enter the Sunday Challenge by the time it started at 19:35 GMT, Lucky Ace Poker gives you plenty of time to get in on the action. This tournament has a two hour late registration.
