Sam Trickett Splits with Everest Poker

British poker powerhouse Sam Trickett today announced that through mutual consent, he is parting ties with Everest Poker, a little after a year since becoming the Everest Poker ambassador. On joining Everest back in March 2014, Trickett released the following statement.

“I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker."  I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognized in the world.”

With career tournament earnings in excess of $20 Million, Trickett will be spending much of the summer and his WSOP as a free agent.

According to Dave Bland, campaign manager for Everest Poker, “Sam’s time as the sponsored pro with Everest Poker was one which saw some real highs for us, both as an online poker room and fans of the game. Our players had a really unique way of enjoying Sam’s progress at the World Series of Poker last year through our ‘Share 10% of Sam’, and Sam has been an exemplary ambassador for our brand. We’d like to thank him for his contribution to Everest Poker in the past 12 months and we’re really looking forward to a summer with some exciting news just around the corner.”
