Mustapha Kanit Wins 2015 SCOOP Main Event for $1.3M

Mustapha Kanit, an Italian poker pro has a day to remember after taking down the 2015 Spring Championship of Online Poker "High" $10,300 buy-in Main Event for a cool $1.3M.

Mustapha Kanit, who uses the PokerStars handle "lasagnaaammm", has been getting noticed for a good number of years, having been first noticed for his cashes on the Italian Poker Tour. After a number of strong showings and final tables on the EPT, he won his first SCOOP, the event #36-H, a $2,100 re-entry event, for $376K.

This year he topped that result taking down his second SCOOP event, this time for $1.3M. The final standings were:
