We are all suckers for anything that offers the potential for a big return. PokerStars Spin & Go's are the latest addition that offer players to win anywhere up to 3,000 times their buy in. They were first introduced in October 2014 and within the first 10 days there had been a staggering 7.3 million games played.

The format is a turbo, 3-max winner take all tournament with starting stacks of 500 chips. The prize pool scale depends on the buy in, with buy-ins ranking from $1 up to $100.

All you need to do it decide which level you want to play. The larger the buy in, the larger the prize - with a top prize of $300,000! Did we mention that the play is fast? Levels are 3 minutes a piece and game play is always 3 handed, regardless of the buy in amount. These tournaments don't allow deal making.

You might be asking yourself if anyone ever takes down the top prizes. After the initial launch, it took quite some time for the top prize to go. The first big winner was Russian player "sss66666" who took down a $1 Million prize pool during a special limited edition million $ game. He beat Belgium player "geldduvel" and Bulgaria's "Nonko999" in just under 15 minutes - not a bad return. Both losing players were also awarded a consolation prize of £100,000. 

Due to the popularity, PokerStars have recently added a $100 buy in tournament. We certainly wouldn't be surprised to see higher buy ins en route in the not too distant future.
