Partypoker.com UK WPT £2.2K Main Event

Time is fast approaching when the 2015 PartyPoker WPT UK main event will kick off, with a £2,200 buy in and cool £ Million prize pool. The event kicks off on Tuesday 3rd November and runs through to the 8th at Dusk till Dawn in Nottingham.

This main event will cap off a 16 day marathon of nine-events across 16 days guaranteeing £2.5 million in prize money.

The format of the main event makes for interesting reading. There will be two starting days, day 1a and 1b and  re-entries are allowed. Players that bust on day 1a are allowed to re-enter on day 1b. What makes the format interesting is that players that don't bust on day 1a and think they can get more if they re-entered, can do just that. What's more, if a player re-enters on day 1b and busts, they can fall back on their day 1a stack.

The same event last season crowned Lithuania's Matas Cimbolas champion and the £200,000 top prize. He navigated his way through the 354 other players who coughed up the buy in.
