DaGoddfather Scores Second Sunday Million

Posted:May 2016

If any aspiring poker player was given the choice to pick an online tournament to win, it would almost certainly be the Sunday Million at PokerStars. Not only to get into a pretty elite club but also for the whopping payout that comes with taking it down. As you can imagine, the number of players who have won it multiple times is fairly limited.

Canadian player DaGoddfather has just become one of 10 other double winners of the event. Back in 2011, DaGoddfather took down the event and $ 163,877.79 following a 3-way chop. On Sunday, he navigated his way through 5,400 other players to take down $168,945.98 and a second title. Not bad for someone who has only played 412 PokerStars tournaments since 2016. Here are his best scores on PokerStars:

Second and third place was taken down by UK players Whollydflush and BlindRazorJJ who took down $125,843.30 and $88,954.47 respectively.

Sunday was another big night for Canada as p0cket00 took beat 1239 players to take down the Sunday Supersonic for $41,894.79. Canadian player Doug "dlanger610" Lang also won the Sunday warm up taking home a cool $58,370.91 (2-way chop) and first place.

Other big Sunday PokerStars scores came from SeeYouAnte18 (UK) who won the $1,050 Sunday Grand for $85,995.00 and Juan "Jbittar" Valadares Bittar who won the Sunday Kick-Off for $23,967.93.
