Party Poker £6 Million Tournament

In April 2017, Party Poker is going to make one lucky player a millionaire as they kick off a massive £6 Million guaranteed tournament called the Party Poker Millions that will guarantee first place gets over £1 Million.

When we consider that events like the EPT grand final only had a prize pool of $5.3M with a buy in of over €5,300, you'll be amazed to learn that the Party Poker Millions has a buy in of only £550, which seems too good to be true. Well buying into day 1 will cost £550. Players will also have the option to buy into day 2 for £5,300.

To reach this ambitious level of players required to cover such a massive prize pool, Party Poker are running a ton of online and live day 1 events online at Party Poker, at Nottinghams Dusk till Dawn and at other select card rooms around the UK. This is likely to make the Party Poker Millions a tournament not to be missed in 2017.

Format of the Party Poker Millions

There are three main stages to the event. Phase 1. Day 1 and the Finals.

Online Phase 1s will be held Tuesdays at 21:00 from 4th October onwards at partypoker. Buy in directly for £550 or win a seat from just $0.01 in their satellites. Players start with 100,000 chips and play ends after 18 levels. Stacks are then carried through to Day 1. Players are free to choose the live or online Day 1 that suits them best. So, even if you played a Phase 1 online, you can then choose to play Day 1 live, and vice versa.

If you play more than one Phase 1 you will be eligible to play multiple Day 1 events. So, if you successfully finish three separate Phase 1s events with chips remaining you can then play three separate Day 1 events.

There are two ways to play Day 1 of the partypoker MILLIONS. The first is by successfully completing Phase 1 and carrying your stack through to Day 1. The second option is to buy in directly for £5,300. Players who choose to buy in directly to Day 1 will receive 1,000,000 chips.

Partypoker will host online Day 1s on 9th & 16th April and there will be two further live Day 1s at Dusk Till Dawn held on 18th and 19th April. Play concludes after 10 levels and players will carry their stacks to the Final stages on 20th – 23rd April.

The Finals will take place from 20th – 23rd April 2017 at Dusk Till Dawn. Players are able to buy in for the first Level of Day 1 (for £5300), and join the players who made it through the various Phase 1s.

All remaining players will play until only one player is left standing. The winner will be crowned the partypoker MILLIONS champion and will walk away with an unbelievable £1 million cash!

To wet the appetite, the first 100 players to qualify for Phase 1 will receive the full £550 buy in back in cash, even for those who got in via satellite. This is not taken from the overall prizepool and is added value for the players.
