Sky Poker’s sell-out Tour hits the road
Posted:November 2010This is the third season that Sky Poker has run their tour and every single event so far has sold out. The events are supported by live updates on the Sky Poker Community and Sky Poker TV, the UK’s only dedicated 24/7 Poker Channel. There are plenty of spaces but don't wait too long as dates are looming.
Here are the dates:
Leg 1: G Casino Blackpool - 30th October
Leg 2: Aspers Newcastle - 8th January
Leg 3: G Casino Luton - 12th March
Leg 4: Grovesnor Leeds - 7th May
Leg 5: Les Croupiers Cardiff - 23rd July
Grand Final: DTD Nottingham - 10th September
The tour has an aggregate Guarantee of £100,000, and the top three at each of the first 5 legs also get free entry into the Grand Final, which has a seat value of £220.
Members of “Team Sky Poker” play at these events, and a sprinkling of celebrities from the sport and entertainment world are usually in attendance too.
Qualification for SPT Newcastle is available now online at Sky Poker. The events are one day tournaments, except for the 2 day Grand Final, but it’s become
custom and practice to make a weekend of it.
