Rules of Oklahoma Poker

Oklahoma Lowball is a variant of 5 Card Stud in which the low hand wins the pot. Please check out our 5 Card Stud rules guide for how to play the game. Here is a quick recap on the order of play:

All players ante
Each player is dealt one card face-down (hole card) and one card face-up (door card)
First betting round
Each player is dealt one card face-up
Second betting round
Each player is dealt another card face-up (4th street)
Third betting round
Each player is dealt a last card face-up (river)
Final betting round

At showdown, the lowest hand wins the pot - this would be A through to 6. The key differences between Oklahoma and 5 Card Stud is that i) the Lowest Card starts the betting, ii) straights and flushes count, iii) aces are low only and iiii) 2's are wild.

Whilst you won't find this particular game played online, you can play 5 Card Stud, a few of it's variations (sadly not this one!) as well as over 20 other games! See which games are available and how rooms stack up against each game.
