Rules of Satan Poker

Satan Poker is a high low version of 5 Card Stud and one that was submitted online. There isn't a great deal of information about this variation other than it's played High Low. This means the player with the highest hand splits the pot with the player with the lowest hand (where the low hands have no card over 8).

Another difference is that the last card is dealt up whereas in 5 Stud, it's dealt down. Other than these few exceptions, the game structure is as in Five Stud. For those that aren't familiar with the order of play, here's a quick recap:

All players ante

Each player is dealt one card face-down (hole card) and one card face-up (door card)


First betting round


Each player is dealt one card face-up


Second betting round


Each player is dealt another card face-up (4th street)


Third betting round


Each player is dealt a last card face-up (river)


Final betting round
