Party Poker News - April

Party Poker have this month revealed that they are doing away with their Bad Beat Jackpot tables.  The next Bad Beat Jackpot to be hit will be the last one, at which point all Bad Beat tables will be removed from the cash game schedule, within the lobby. Any moneys taken after that time will be returned to player accounts. Here is a copy of the communication issued to players:

"Hi XXX,

We want you to be the first to know about some changes that we’re making to your poker room.

Soon, we’ll be removing our Bad Beat Jackpot. We’re doing this to ensure a healthier poker room, offering you better cash games and more players to play against.

The next time the Bad Beat Jackpot is hit will be the last. All Jackpot tables will be removed from the cash game schedule, and any jackpot contributions collected after the final jackpot will be returned to player accounts.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for playing, and we invite you to look out for more great promotions in the pipeline."
