Poker Pro – Beth Shak, Sued For Her Slew of Shoes

Three years after her divorce from poker pro Daniel Shak, Beth Shak’s shoes have finally caught his attention. Beth is also a poker pro and has apparently has as many pairs of shoes as Imelda Markos. He is now suing her for part of the value of her shoes – why? Well we believe it’s not because he wants to wear them, but because they are worth a small fortune. He refers to them as ‘hidden treasure’.

New light on this high profile poker divorce comes after her husband claims he had no idea what she was hiding in their master bedroom closet. "She has 1200 pairs of designer shoes worth about $1 million!" Of these shoes – 700 pairs are Christian Laboutins – and the attractive 42 year old poker pro wears a tattoo of a Laboutin stiletto.

Reports in the New York Post has minds boggling as her husband claims he may be entitled to hundreds of thousand dollars. The slew of shoes was never declared in the initial divorce settlement.

Beth denies that her shoe collection was hidden, and is shaking her head over the fact that her ex-husband now has a sense of entitlement over her collection and their value. He remains resolute. Besides also being a poker pro, he is also a hedge fund manager, and he wants the courts to perform an accounting of the collection. He wants 35% of their reported value – could this be an elaborate bluff?

In our opinion 1200 pairs of shoes is virtually impossible to hide even in a secret room as Daniel claims they were, especially as someone like Beth considers her Christian Laboutins to be like ‘fine art’.
