Bird on a Stick (Poker)

Bird on a stick is the term given to the poker starting hand 7-2, otherwise as a Beer Hand. This hand is commonly seen as the worst poker starting hand in Hold'em for the reason that you cannot make a straight with both your hole cards, in addition to the fact that the odds of winning with this hand are not good. This is one of the reasons that it is called a Beer Hand - you should be buying everyone a beer should you win with the hand. Ok, a little over the top perhaps, but point made.
